PARTI RADICAL 

Party Leader: Nathalie Delattre

Founded in 1901 under the name “Parti Républicain, Radical et Radical-Socialiste”, the Mouvement Radical / Social-Libéral fights for secularism, social justice, European federalism, decentralisation and a green transformation of the economy. The French Radicals have played a decisive role on the political spectrum in France and also in Europe as co-founders of the European Liberal Democratic family in 1976.

UNION DES DÉMOCRATES ET INDÉPENDANTS 

Party Leader: Hervé Marseille

The “Union of Democrats and Independents” is a member of ALDE Party since 2016. The center-right party is founded in 2012 by Jean-Louis Borloo. Simone Veil, the first female President of the European Parliament, a former French Minister, and a highly respected French politician, was also one of the founding members. Hervé Marseille succeeded Jean-Christophe Lagarde in 2022 as party leader and is regarded as a convinced European.
